I've been busy enjoying my summer vacation, but I noticed that for some reason the Flash-based music player that I was using to host some of my songs no longer works. So, for the time being, I've taken down those music files until I can figure out how to correct the problem.
Additionally, I'd really like to work on integrating the photos section into the new Joomla site, but until I can get that going, I've posted a bunch of photos that I had been meaning to upload to Facebook - check them out there for now! |

Well, I never thought I'd survive, but I finished my first year of law school, and I'm ecstatic. (However, I won't get my grades until Tuesday, so, yeah...) I'm keeping myself busy with a judicial internship and a research project for one of my professors, so I definitely have constructive activities to do, but I figured I'd procrastinate a bit and get around to updating my website.
I realized that a lot of my social networking profiles had outdated information so I just spent the last hour or so updating all of those. All of the links that you will find on the left menu ("Find Sean Elsewhere") will now link to various up-to-date social networking profiles. I decided to buckle down and do this because I realize how important it is to have a decent web presence out there, even for an individual. I don't want people to find outdated information and think I'm still 18 or something, you know?
Speaking of old profiles, I checked my old profile at ActiveBass.com (even updating it a bit) because I recalled that I get messages about lessons that I used to post back in high school. Well, to my surprise (a pleasant one) I found that one of my old lessons has been viewed over 136,000 times! That's unreal, especially considering this website doesn't get a lot of traffic. I thought that was pretty cool. You can find the lesson in question, which I wrote back in 11th grade, here.
Haven't made any headway on the photo section of this website (and I have a ton of un-uploaded pictures, actually) - that's next on my to-do list. |

I just started my second semester at Brooklyn Law, so I will of course be much busier than I was of late. Unfortunately, over winter break I did not get a chance to work on SeanComerford.com, but when I get some free time on a weekend or two, I plan on "modernizing" the photos section of the site and bringing it over to work within the Joomla shell (rather than the separate page that it all my photos are residing on). Plus, I have a bunch of new photos to add!

Hello everyone, I've finally found a bit of time due to the long weekend to update my site a little bit. I've added a "Music" section, accessible by the link in the top menu, that has some links to songs that I have created. For the time being I have only posted some "One Man Band Covers" that I have created - basically, the fruits of when I got bored and decided to record covers of various songs that I like with Apple's GarageBand.
I hope to work more on creating a Photos section of the site tonight and tomorrow so that I can test the capabilities of Joomla. Keep in mind that I am a complete self-taught amateur at web design, so while it's really fun to work on my site, updates also will come slowly.

I finished my last final on Monday in Criminal Law and I'm now on a well-deserved break. Have a happy holidays everyone, and stay tuned for some updates to this site while I actually have time to edit it! I am planning on integrating photo galleries directly into the site, but for now, just click the link on the left to see all the old pictures. |
