Well, I never thought I'd survive, but I finished my first year of law school, and I'm ecstatic. (However, I won't get my grades until Tuesday, so, yeah...) I'm keeping myself busy with a judicial internship and a research project for one of my professors, so I definitely have constructive activities to do, but I figured I'd procrastinate a bit and get around to updating my website.
I realized that a lot of my social networking profiles had outdated information so I just spent the last hour or so updating all of those. All of the links that you will find on the left menu ("Find Sean Elsewhere") will now link to various up-to-date social networking profiles. I decided to buckle down and do this because I realize how important it is to have a decent web presence out there, even for an individual. I don't want people to find outdated information and think I'm still 18 or something, you know?
Speaking of old profiles, I checked my old profile at ActiveBass.com (even updating it a bit) because I recalled that I get messages about lessons that I used to post back in high school. Well, to my surprise (a pleasant one) I found that one of my old lessons has been viewed over 136,000 times! That's unreal, especially considering this website doesn't get a lot of traffic. I thought that was pretty cool. You can find the lesson in question, which I wrote back in 11th grade, here.
Haven't made any headway on the photo section of this website (and I have a ton of un-uploaded pictures, actually) - that's next on my to-do list. |

I finished my last final on Monday in Criminal Law and I'm now on a well-deserved break. Have a happy holidays everyone, and stay tuned for some updates to this site while I actually have time to edit it! I am planning on integrating photo galleries directly into the site, but for now, just click the link on the left to see all the old pictures. |

Yesterday was my first law school final, in torts... I think it went pretty well. I am definitely relieved, but I also have a bit of a false sense of complacency because I still have two more to go! Still, it's my birthday today, so I owe it to myself to go out and have a good time. :D |

I thought this was pretty cool, so I decided to share it. Over at MTGCast, they have a contest going to design lost "Morphlings" that Wizards of the Cost might make in the future. So I used the open source Magic Set Editor to create these, as a little break from studying. For the first one, Omniling, I basically just thought about what a cool 5-color "Morphling" style card would be, and for the second one, Arcling, I had the Darksteel "Arcbound" set of creatures in mind when I created it. It's kind of an Arcbound Ravager on steroids. The picture for the first one is a supernova, and the second is a proposed forest fire-fighting robot. Sweet.
