This was given to me as a joke by Aya for my birthday... It looks just like a bag of medicine that one might get from a doctor here in Japan, but instead it says Cool Space Invaders alarm clock that Yuriko and her friends gave me for my birthday. It lights up and makes Space Invaders sounds when it goes off. Cool flyer advertising a limited-edition Pillows Buster-kun figure. Insane flyer for a band, called Dustbox, that I saw live opening for Ellegarden in Koriyama. I'm sure that the Japanese Postal Service has the cutest mascot worldwide. They have since privatized, however, so I don't think they use her anymore. Some awesome origami stuff that I was given by the kids of Akasawa Elementary! The two things in the foreground were made by a girl named Sakura, and actually the thing in the background with the mini origami cranes in the bottle was made by one of the student's grandmothers. It was in the 6th grade classroom, and when I saw it I commented that I thought it was really nice. The 6th grade teacher just gave it to me! Really made me happy! Really nice glass and cloth coaster from Ishikawa Prefecture that Yuriko gave me. Sweet Pillows tote bag that I got at their show in Sendai. Sweet Rolling Stone Japan poster featuring Rei from Evangelion holding the Earth... it was featured in an article about global warming. I haven't even seen Eva yet, but it's a cool poster. Closeup of the signatures. Cool signed Dohatsuten poster that I got at the Ahrabaki Rock Festival for buying their new album. Yoshida Brothers poster that I got at their concert. Yuriko and the breakfast she decided to make me for some reason! *Evokes the Wayne's World voice* I'm not worthy! Top-down view of this wonderful egg sandwich. So in Japan, on Valentine's Day girls are supposed to give chocolates to their boyfriends, so this is what Yuri gave me. Some kind of message in French... And the chocolates that Yuriko hand-made (!) for me!
